A chilling murder case unfolded in Shivpuram as a man allegedly killed his wife after a heated argument. According to police reports, the incident, which occurred under the jurisdiction of the Sadar police station on Wednesday, involved Amit, who allegedly slit the throat of his wife, Shweta, also known as Shikha.

Their son, Anubhav, witnessed the gruesome crime. Neighbors, including landlady Hemlata Singh, reported frequent quarrels between the couple. Singh confirmed that another argument erupted on Wednesday night, which turned fatal.

Authorities have registered a case following a complaint by Shweta's family. The Senior Superintendent of Police, Brijesh Kumar Singh, affirmed that a manhunt is underway for Amit, who is currently on the run.
