Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, has reiterated his commitment to improving the lives of the poor, stating that true welfare is about creating a society free from poverty. He addressed a village gathering where he personally handed out welfare pensions to eligible citizens.
Naidu underscored his accountability to the state's five crore residents rather than a political 'high command'. 'True welfare is illuminating the lives of the poor and achieving a poverty-free society is my goal,' Naidu stated during the event.
The Chief Minister personally delivered pensions to residents Talari Saramma and Yedukondalu at their homes. He also criticized the lack of industrial interest during the previous YSRCP regime, emphasizing efforts to steer Andhra Pradesh back on a path of economic growth.
