Jammu Governor Calls for United Front Against Border Threats

In a decisive move to bolster border security, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has called on all security agencies to work cohesively to counter cross-border threats. His statement comes in the wake of a ceasefire violation and a significant IED attack in the region.

During a high-level security meeting in Jammu, Sinha underscored the immediate need to eradicate terrorism from the province. Stressing the necessity for reinforced border security, he highlighted the challenges posed by the porous borders and rugged terrain.

The Governor directed security forces to concentrate on intelligence-driven operations and implement a comprehensive strategy for modern policing to ensure public safety and dismantle terrorist support infrastructure.
