Teen's Harrowing Ordeal in Karawal Nagar

A 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbor in northeast Delhi's Karawal Nagar. The incident reportedly took place on a Thursday afternoon when the neighbor lured her under a false pretense. Police have arrested the accused, and an investigation is underway.

A 17-year-old girl in northeast Delhi faced a traumatic experience when she was allegedly raped by her neighbor in Karawal Nagar, according to police reports on Friday.

The alleged attack occurred on Thursday, around noon, when the accused summonsed her to a house in the area under the guise of needing assistance with work, and then assaulted her. The accused has since been arrested and the investigation is in progress, the police confirmed.

The girl was promptly taken to GTB Hospital for a medical examination and received necessary counseling. Police registered a First Information Report (FIR) based on her account and medical findings, leading to the neighbor's apprehension.
