Elusive Offender Arrested: Vishal's 15-Year Run Ends

Vishal, a 40-year-old proclaimed offender wanted since 2010, was captured by Delhi Police after 15 years on the run. He faced charges in 18 different cases, including robbery and kidnapping. His arrest came after a tip-off in Karkardooma, resulting in police setting a successful trap.

Delhi Police successfully arrested a 40-year-old offender, Vishal, also known as Vicky, who had been evading capture for 15 years in connection to a 2010 snatching case. The arrest was made public by an official on Friday.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Raja Banthia, Vishal had been declared a proclaimed offender by a court in 2010. Since then, he had consistently changed locations to avoid law enforcement. However, intensified police efforts resulted in his apprehension.

The breakthrough came on February 11, when a tip-off suggested Vishal would be near the BSES Office in Karkardooma. Police teams acted swiftly, laying a trap that led to his capture. Vishal faces charges in 18 criminal cases, including robbery, snatching, and kidnapping, all registered in various police stations across Delhi.
