NCP MP Sule Demands Justice in Deshmukh Murder Case

NCP MP Supriya Sule has launched a scathing attack on the Maharashtra government over its inability to apprehend the primary suspect in the murder case of Massajog village sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh, nearly two months after the crime. Speaking in Beed district after meeting with Deshmukh's family, Sule stated that she raised the issue with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who promised to address the case.

Despite seven arrests, Krushna Andhale, the prime suspect, remains elusive. Sule criticized the local police's failure to capture him and condemned Walmik Karad, associated with Maharashtra minister Dhananjay Munde, for his alleged involvement. Sule, along with NCP MP Bajrang Sonawane, is determined to ensure justice and transparency, demanding updates on the investigation's progress.

Alleging political and institutional pressure as hindrances, Sule vows to personally meet with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for a resolution. Meanwhile, NCP leaders continue to speak out, demanding that the murder investigations of Deshmukh and another local case involving Mahadev Munde be moved outside Beed to avoid undue influence.
