In a significant breakthrough, Delhi Police's Crime Branch has arrested two individuals who impersonated Enforcement Directorate officers in an elaborate extortion scheme.

The duo, identified as Iqbal Qureshi and Arun Lal alias Ankit, attempted to extort Rs 20 crore from a victim by staging a fake raid on a farmhouse in Mehrauli.

The complainant cleverly notified authorities after leading the gang to a bank, resulting in a case and subsequent arrests. The incident has prompted officials to investigate further into the notorious gang's operations.
