A real estate company's fraudulent activities have left multiple investors in distress, including retired government official Manoj Anand, according to a police report. The company allegedly misappropriated over Rs 3.5 lakh from Anand in a long-standing housing project scam.

Launched in 2004, the housing project promised plots to investors but was abruptly closed two decades later. The company allegedly transferred the land to its associate companies, leaving many without their promised properties. Anand, unable to get a response from the company, has lodged an FIR, claiming no transparency or contact from the firm's end.

Other victims, including Jitender Thakur and Mohinder Singh, have come forward, reporting that the company booked approximately 2,000 plots between 2004 and 2005. Despite collecting around Rs 50 crore, parts of the land were sold to associates, who launched a new project with a license from the Jaipur Development Authority in 2020.
