The Jharkhand assembly was thrown into disorder on Monday as opposition BJP legislators demanded immediate discussion on what they described as the 'deteriorating' law and order situation in the state.
BJP members raised slogans and stormed into the House's well, citing a series of violent incidents, including shootings and murders, as grounds for a debate.
Amid the uproar, Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato adjourned the session until noon. Upon resumption, BJP MLA C P Singh reiterated demands for a government response, but proceedings continued after the Speaker's intervention.
