In a decisive move to ensure peace during the upcoming festival season, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren convened a high-stakes meeting with law enforcement officials on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Soren emphasized the importance of curbing misinformation and intensifying surveillance to deter anti-social activities. The directive is aimed at safeguarding festivals including Holi, Sarhul, Eid, and Ram Navami.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the necessity of heightened vigilance in communally sensitive areas. He stressed holding regular dialogues with peace committees to establish robust community coordination and prevent potential unrest.
