In a significant breakthrough for Punjab law enforcement, an operative linked to a notorious foreign-based gang was apprehended following a dramatic shootout in Moga city. The arrest was confirmed by the state's top security head.

Identified as Malkit Singh, also known as Manu, the suspect was reportedly armed with a .32 caliber pistol at the time of capture. With at least seven criminal charges already against him, including murder, Manu is suspected to have acted under orders from influential individuals in the criminal underworld.

The operation, spearheaded by the Anti-Gangster Task Force, followed a credible tip-off that led to a tense confrontation. Authorities emphasize their ongoing commitment to dismantling gang networks operating within and beyond state borders.
