Tragic Unveiling: Arrests Made in 2019 Case of Widow's Gang Rape and Murder

On Tuesday, authorities arrested three individuals linked to the gang rape and murder of a widow that occurred in 2019, according to police reports.
The suspects, named Anil Tiwari, Rakesh Saroj, and Sheetala Saroj, had exploited the victim's financial vulnerabilities following the death of her husband, a former army cook.
Upon threats of police involvement by the victim for unreturned funds, the suspects allegedly lured her on August 17, 2019, under false premises, committing the heinous crime. Information from informants led to their capture at their residences.
