In a significant breakthrough, police arrested three individuals on Thursday in connection with the murder of 24-year-old Bhavna Singh, who was shot dead on March 20 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhinay Vishwakarma, the suspects, Mukul Yadav, his brother Ashu Yadav, and their friend Swasti Rai, were detained on a bypass between Delhi and Gwalior. The trio allegedly shot Singh during a dispute over music at a liquor party and left her outside a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

The accused were found hiding in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh, planning to escape to Nepal. Police recovered a country-made pistol and several online betting materials involving thousands of rupees have been uncovered, resulting in a parallel investigation into illegal gambling activities.
