In a tragic escalation of cross-border tensions, an assault by the Pakistan Army targeted forward villages along the Line of Control, culminating in significant loss of life in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The attack, which claimed the lives of at least twelve individuals, including four children, left 57 others wounded and occurred after India launched a retaliatory missile strike on terror targets across the border.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann condemned the grave assault, particularly highlighting the bombing of a gurdwara where four Sikhs were killed, lamenting the loss of innocent lives and denouncing the barbaric actions targeting civilians.
