Heightened Security Measures Amid India-Pakistan Tensions

In response to rising tensions between India and Pakistan, Odisha has intensified security across key sites like the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur. High-security measures are implemented at critical locations, including airports and railway stations, with an emergency meeting scheduled to ensure crisis preparedness.

Tensions between India and Pakistan have led the Odisha government to ramp up security across crucial installations, including the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Chandipur, Balasore district, to counter any potential threats.

Significantly enhanced security measures are now in place at several vital sites such as the Army Air Defence College near Gopalpur, the ordnance factory in Balangir, INS Chilka, and the Indian Rare Earths Limited (IERL) near Chhatrapur, according to official sources.

A high-level emergency meeting, spearheaded by Deputy Inspector General of Police, Eastern Range, Satyajit Naik, will convene at the Proof and Experimental Establishment in Chandipur to reassess and strengthen the region's security strategy.
