A disturbing case of fratricide and insurance fraud emerged in Sambhal, as a man allegedly plotted his brother's murder to claim insurance payout. The accused, Naveen, orchestrated the incident by pushing his brother, Sanjay, off an e-rickshaw.
In a twist of deception, Naveen initially reported his brother's death as an accident. Despite initial closure due to lack of evidence, the case was reopened following a crucial tip-off from the insurance company, highlighting suspicious claims.
The police investigation unveiled the carefully crafted scheme involving multiple life insurance policies. Naveen, along with an accomplice, Akhilesh, was arrested and jailed for involvement in both murder and insurance fraud.
