Netanyahu on Iran: Change Isn't the Goal, But a Possible Result

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that while regime change in Iran isn't a goal, it could be a potential outcome. He stressed that decisions regarding Iran's leadership are up to the Iranian people, not external forces. Netanyahu conveyed this sentiment on Israeli public broadcaster Kan.

In a statement on Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu clarified Israel's stance regarding Iran, stating that regime change in the country isn't intended as an objective, but could be an eventual result.

Netanyahu emphasized that the future of Iran's regime is ultimately in the hands of its own citizens. "The matter of changing the regime or the fall of this regime is first and foremost a matter for the Iranian people," he remarked.

Speaking to Kan, Israel's public broadcaster, he further explained that while regime change might not be an explicit goal, it could ensue from ongoing regional dynamics and internal pressures within Iran.
