In a sweeping crackdown, Delhi Police's Operation Kavach-8.0 has yielded the arrest of 139 drug offenders and registration of 133 cases under the NDPS Act, according to an official statement on Friday.

The comprehensive operation covered 1,040 locations in the capital, involving more than 350 teams from the city's 15 police districts, including the Special Cell and Crime Branch.

The operation also led to other significant seizures including firearms, gambling equipment, and illicit liquor, emphasizing Delhi Police's commitment to tackling various forms of crime.
