The incident occurred during the implementation overview of the Jal Jeevan Mission at a local temple, where a viral video allegedly shows Parthasarathi questioning the Panchayat president's religion and caste, which has sparked widespread criticism.
The YSRCP and the Human Rights Forum condemned the MLA's behavior, demanding legal action under the SC/ST Act, while Parthasarathi has denied discrimination, apologizing and taking responsibility for the incident.
