A fatal accident claimed the lives of two individuals when a pickup truck skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Sunni tehsil, Shimla, on Sunday night.

The victims, Prem Chand and Dinesh, both hailed from Gaderi village. The tragic incident occurred near Jalog village after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

Local residents discovered the truck on Monday morning and informed the authorities. Police arrived promptly to recover the bodies, while Shimla's Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Gandhi confirmed an ongoing investigation into the incident.
