New Leadership in Food Processing Industries: A P Das Joshi Takes Charge

A P Das Joshi has been appointed as the new secretary of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries. Previously, Joshi served as an additional secretary in the DoPT. Sanjeev Chopra had been managing the role temporarily following Subrata Gupta's retirement. The cabinet's committee approved Joshi's selection.

A P Das Joshi has been named the new secretary for the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, according to an official order issued by the Personnel Ministry.

Joshi, an IAS officer from the 1994 batch belonging to the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, has previously held the position of additional secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training.

The appointment was confirmed by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, following Sanjeev Chopra's interim management of the role after Subrata Gupta's retirement on May 31.
