Breakthrough in Chaibasa Murder Case: Two More Arrests
The Jharkhand Police have made progress in the murder case of Sumit Singh Yadav, a financial firm recovery agent, with the arrest of two additional suspects, Ravi Toppo and Vijay Das. This brings the total arrests to four, as authorities continue their investigation into the crime, suspected to stem from an old enmity.

In a significant development, Jharkhand Police have arrested two more individuals in connection with the murder of Sumit Singh Yadav, a recovery agent, raising the total number of apprehensions to four.
Authorities identified and apprehended Ravi Toppo and Vijay Das, who were allegedly involved in the fatal shooting that occurred on July 13 in Chaibasa's New Colony Nimdih area. Law enforcement seized two motorcycles believed to be used in the crime.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT), led by Sub-Divisional Police Officer Bahman Tuti, continues to pursue the remaining suspects, with the involvement of five assailants confirmed through CCTV footage. The motive is speculated to be rooted in previous enmity between one of the suspects and the victim.
