In a tragic incident in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind district, two brothers drowned near a marshy area. The accident occurred at 6 PM at Liloee village, falling under the Gorami police station limits.
Saurav, aged 10, and Priyanshu Balmiki, aged 8, were playing when they slipped into the water. Their bodies were recovered by local police and villagers, Sub-Divisional Officer of Police Sanjay Kocha told reporters.
In the wake of this tragedy, villagers are calling for fencing around dangerous, waterlogged regions and are urging authorities to provide compensation to the family of the deceased brothers.
