A gun firing incident was reported in east Delhi's Vivek Vihar after a confrontation over alleged eve-teasing escalated between two groups, according to police officials on Monday.
The incident unfolded near Jhilmil Colony, where a resident received a visit from a group led by an advocate, accusing him of molesting the advocate's sister. As the resident's neighbors gathered, tensions rose and the group fled, with one person reportedly firing a gun.
The police responded swiftly to investigate, but found no evidence of gunfire despite thorough searches. Now, complaints from both groups are being reviewed as part of an ongoing probe, with FIRs being filed accordingly.
