JJP leader Digvijay Singh Chautala received a disturbing video clip on his phone depicting an unknown assailant firing at a statue of slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, a party source reported.
The video, sent from an international number, implied that supporters of Moosewala, killed last year, could be targeted next. Police in Dabwali, Sirsa, have registered a case and are investigating the clip.
This incident follows a death threat received by Chautala's uncle, INLD chief Abhay Singh Chautala, a few weeks ago. Authorities are piecing together these threats linked to Moosewala's tragic death on May 29, 2022, in Punjab.
