Delhi Police have successfully dismantled a significant counterfeit operation, which was involved in the manufacturing and selling of fake automobile spare parts and engine oil. The authorities have recovered counterfeit goods valued at over Rs 10 lakh and arrested five individuals linked to the racket.
The operation was conducted at two locations, Karol Bagh and Madanpur Dabas, where items with fake trademarks of reputable brands like Honda and TVS were being produced and stored. The police action was initiated following intelligence and verification in collaboration with the legal teams of affected companies.
Harsh Indora, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch), confirmed the seizure of large quantities of counterfeit items, including packaging materials and machinery. The investigation continues as authorities seek to uncover further details about the racket's operations and its network.
