In a tragic incident off the coast of Mallorca, a pilot and his young son were found dead after their biplane crashed into the sea. Spanish police officials confirmed the recovery on Sunday, following a harrowing search operation.

The two-seater Team Rocket F-4 Raider aircraft reportedly performed aerobatics before crashing near Puerto Soller. Emergency teams swiftly initiated a search after the plane went down around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday night, but were initially unable to locate the victims.

Specialist divers from the Civil Guard resumed the search at first light, eventually locating the bodies at a depth of 30 meters and bringing them ashore by early afternoon. Authorities have launched an investigation to uncover the factors leading to the fatal crash.
