Russia's defense ministry announced that its forces destroyed 24 Ukrainian drones overnight, including seven over the frequently targeted Rostov region. The ministry disclosed only the number of drones destroyed, without mentioning how many were actually launched by Ukraine.

Reuters has not been able to independently verify the reports, and there hasn't been an immediate response from Kyiv. Ukraine regularly asserts that its operations inside Russia focus on undermining key infrastructure supporting Moscow's war efforts, serving as retaliation for persistent Russian strikes on Ukraine.
