Bribery Sting: Police Caught in the Act
Two Ramamurthy Nagar police officers, Inspector Rajshekar and Sub-inspector Ruman Pasha, alongside an individual named Imran Babu, were arrested for accepting a Rs 1 lakh bribe. The incident came to light following a complaint by Manjunath over a demand for Rs 2 lakh to resolve a domestic dispute.

In a significant sting operation, two officers from the Ramamurthy Nagar police station and a civilian accomplice were apprehended by Lokayukta officials for accepting a bribe of Rs 1 lakh.
The perpetrators have been identified as Inspector Rajshekar, Sub-inspector Ruman Pasha, and Imran Babu. The arrest unfolded on Saturday during the acceptance of the first installment of bribe money.
The operation was instigated by a complaint from Manjunath, a KR Puram resident, who accused the officers of demanding Rs 2 lakh to handle a domestic dispute involving missing jewelry and cash.
