In Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, an army soldier named Kapil was allegedly assaulted by employees at the Bhuni toll plaza. The shocking incident occurred on Sunday as the soldier, hailing from Gotka village, was en route to rejoin his duty after leave.

The incident escalated when Kapil's vehicle was caught in a long line at the toll plaza. Kapil requested the toll plaza staff to expedite the process, which led to a heated argument. This altercation spiraled into a physical assault against the soldier.

The local police have swiftly taken action by registering a case based on a complaint from Kapil's family. Using CCTV footage, six individuals have been arrested, with ongoing efforts to apprehend other suspects. Meerut's Superintendent of Police (Rural) Rakesh Kumar Mishra confirmed the arrests.
