Shiv Sena MLA Guddu Pandit Faces Serious Charges

Shiv Sena MLA from Uttar Pradesh, Shri Bhagwan Sharma alias Guddu Pandit, is accused of sexual assault against a woman in Bengaluru. The alleged incident occurred on August 17 after he arranged accommodation in a hotel. An FIR was filed and further investigation is underway.

Shri Bhagwan Sharma, also known as Guddu Pandit and a Shiv Sena MLA from Uttar Pradesh, is embroiled in serious allegations. He faces charges of sexual assault against a 40-year-old woman who claims he also threatened her life in Bengaluru.

According to the complainant, she and her minor son arrived in Bengaluru from Uttar Pradesh at Sharma's insistence on August 14. During their visit, the MLA reportedly took them to various sites in the city.

The situation escalated when, on August 16, the MLA took the woman and her son to Chitradurga, followed by a night at a five-star hotel near Kempegowda International Airport. There, as stated in the FIR, he allegedly coerced her into sexual activities and threatened harm when she resisted. A case was registered under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and investigations are ongoing, a senior police officer confirmed.
