High-Stakes NATO Meeting on Ukraine: Military Leaders Convene

NATO military leaders are poised for a crucial meeting on Wednesday, addressing the ongoing situation in Ukraine. The summit, described as routine by a NATO official, gathers chief defense representatives to deliberate major strategic decisions.

U.S. General Dan Caine, Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is expected to attend the summit virtually. However, the Pentagon has not yet commented on the meeting, and plans for General Caine's participation might still undergo changes.

The alliance's top military officials will also be briefed by NATO's supreme Allied Commander, Alexus Grynkewich, who will report on the outcomes of the recent meeting in Alaska between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
