A 46-year-old woman was found dead in Kottuvally, Ernakulam, after allegedly being threatened by a moneylender. The woman, Asha, reportedly took her own life following continued harassment.

Asha had borrowed Rs 10 lakh from Bindhu Pradeep for house repairs and medical costs. Though she repaid the amount, Bindhu allegedly demanded more.

The police have launched a thorough investigation and are examining the potential involvement of Bindhu and her husband in abetting the suicide. Asha's family had filed a complaint prior to the incident.
