Tragic Collision in Palamau: Scooter Rider Killed, Sister Critically Injured

A 22-year-old man was fatally struck, and his sister severely injured, by an intoxicated SUV driver in Jharkhand's Palamau district. The driver, Munna, lost control and hit the siblings' scooter. A somber incident unfolded in Jharkhand's Palamau district where a young man lost his life and his sister sustained severe injuries after their scooter was struck by an SUV on Wednesday evening.

The SUV driver, identified as 25-year-old Munna from Tukbeda panchayat, was reportedly intoxicated at the time of the accident, according to police reports.

The violent collision took place at Itko more under the Nawabazar police station limits. Authorities confirmed that the victims, originally from Jainagra village, were commuting home from college when the tragedy occurred.
