Justice Served: Life Sentence for POCSO Violation

In a significant ruling, a POCSO court has handed down a life sentence to Lovingstar Binan for the sexual assault of a minor girl.

Presiding over the case, Special Judge R Rymbai delivered the verdict on August 22, further imposing a fine of Rs 10,000 on Binan as stipulated by the POCSO Act.

The case, registered in 2021, underscores the ongoing efforts to uphold justice under the POCSO framework.
