A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Rajasthan's Baran district, where a crocodile dragged a 15-year-old girl, Shivani Kevat, into the Parvati River while she was collecting water. Villagers nearby attempted a daring rescue.

Despite their efforts, Shivani disappeared beneath the water, leading to a coordinated search by the local police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF). Her body came to the surface naturally the next morning.

The post-mortem confirmed her death by drowning, with injuries limited to deep wounds from the crocodile's grip. Her body was returned to her family, marking a somber end to a tragic event.
