In a startling incident, a farmer from Madhya Pradesh was violently robbed by two women in Nagpur city, as reported by police on Friday.
The crime unfolded in the Ganga Jamuna area, where Kishorilal Ramesh Verma, 38, was lured to a room and assaulted after being approached by one of the women. An amount of Rs 14,700 was stolen from him.
Authorities have apprehended one suspect, Deepali Samadhan Ingale, while the search for her alleged accomplice, Jugnu Gyaneshwar Wankhede, continues. The attack highlights safety concerns in the area.
