The young girl was abducted by an alleged assailant on a motorcycle, who later returned her to her home before escaping. Her distressed cries alerted her family, who quickly sought medical attention for her. Due to the severity of her condition, she was moved to a facility in Jodhpur.
The police have detained Sajid, a 22-year-old JCB operator from Bharatpur district, on suspicion. Officers have registered a case under the POCSO Act and other relevant sections, and amidst the protests, the community is calling for the harshest possible punishment for the accused.
