A shocking incident has rocked the Godda district in Jharkhand, where a 65-year-old woman was allegedly murdered in her sleep. The crime occurred under the Boarijore police station limits when the woman, identified as Sona Bhanu Khatoon, was asleep beside her granddaughter.
The gruesome discovery was made when local police recovered her body with her throat slit. Officer-in-Charge Ashish Kumar Yadav has confirmed that an investigation is currently underway to unravel the mystery behind the murder.
Authorities, led by Sub-Divisional Police Officer Chandrasekhar Azad, are making concentrated efforts to apprehend the perpetrator as quickly as possible, aiming to deliver justice to the victim and her grieving family.
