Tragic Discovery: Consolidation Clerk Found Dead in Rented Room

Iman Chand, a 35-year-old consolidation clerk in Baheri tehsil, Bareilly district, was found dead in his rented accommodation. Preliminary investigations by police suggest continuous alcohol consumption over two to three days as a possible factor. The body has been sent for post-mortem.

The local police received a tip-off and swiftly moved to secure the premises, taking the body into custody for a post-mortem examination.

SHO Sanjay Tomar revealed that Chand, a Bijnor district native, had been living in a house owned by Lokesh Kumar. Preliminary findings suggest Chand had been consuming alcohol over the past few days. Police notified his family and initiated an inquiry.
