Two male servants have been accused of stealing valuables worth Rs 4.82 lakh from a judge's residence, located at Belvedere Apartments on Bhulabhai Desai Road. According to police reports, the theft occurred between February 21 and October 6, 2023.
The complaint was filed by the judge's wife, who alleged that gold coins and other valuables went missing while she and her husband were away. The suspects, hailing from Madhya Pradesh and Bihar, had been residing in the household's servant quarters during this time.
Both suspects exited their employment unannounced, with one leaving in August. The Gamdevi Police have registered a case and are conducting a thorough investigation, yet no arrests have been made so far.
