Kupiansk Claims Dismissed as Fantasies by Ukraine
Ukraine's military has refuted Russian President Putin's claim that Russian troops have surrounded the town of Kupiansk. Ukraine's forces assert that while Russian troops are present in the northern part of the town, no encirclement has occurred, as also indicated by the DeepState mapping project.

In a recent development, Ukraine's military dismissed assertions by Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the situation in Kupiansk. Putin claimed that the northeast Ukrainian town was encircled by Russian forces.
However, Ukraine's Joint Forces Task Force countered that while Russian troops are present in the northern sector, no such encirclement exists.
This is corroborated by DeepState, a Ukrainian open-source battlefield mapping project, which shows no signs of an encirclement around Kupiansk.
