The news follows the revocation of Ghaywal's passport by Indian agencies, which has been communicated to UK officials.
It is suspected that Ghaywal utilized fraudulent means to flee India, prompting Pune Police to liaise with the British High Commission to facilitate his detention and possible deportation. The situation comes in the wake of charges against Ghaywal for a violent offense in Pune.
Pune Police Deputy Commissioner Sambhaji Kadam reported that the UK authorities have acknowledged the revocation of Ghaywal's passport. Meanwhile, Ghaywal's presence in the UK is supposedly to visit his son, adding another dimension to the international search for the gangster.
