Narcotics Crackdown: Five Arrested in Jammu and Kashmir

In a crackdown on narcotics, police in Jammu and Kashmir arrested five individuals including a couple on suspicion of drug trafficking. The arrests took place in districts such as Jammu, Udhampur, and Poonch.
Police reports reveal that Amjad Khan and his wife, Shamshad Akhter, were detained in a known drug hotspot in Sakinderpur Kothey, part of Jammu's Bishnah area. They're charged with possession of 22.45 grams of heroin.
Other arrests include Manohar Lal in Udhampur with 422.90 grams of charas and Sunil Kumar with 472.27 grams of charas. Inam-ul-Haq was apprehended in Poonch with 11.20 grams of heroin. All suspects face charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
