PDP President Mehbooba Mufti has expressed concern over the extensive raids in Kashmir in relation to a white-collar terror conspiracy case. She underscored that the common people of Kashmir should not face collective punishment due to an individual's wrongdoing, referring to the Red Fort blast.
Mufti further questioned the handling of the recent accidental blast at Nowgam police station. She highlighted several unanswered questions regarding the incident, including the storage of a large quantity of ammonium nitrate in a densely populated area, and the lack of expertise among those tasked with managing it.
During her visit to the family of a police inspector who lost his life in the blast, Mufti called for a comprehensive investigation into the incident and urged the government to provide support to affected families. She also demanded the highest bravery awards for those who died in the tragedy.
