Senior BJP MLA Suresh Kumar took an unusual role on Tuesday, stepping into the shoes of a traffic police constable at Bengaluru's busy Bhashyam Circle. For two hours, Kumar managed peak hour traffic, describing the experience as 'good' and pledging to lend a hand to local traffic police every Monday.

This initiative was part of the Bengaluru Traffic Police's 'Traffic Cop for a Day,' an innovative program that invites citizens to partner with officers by registering via the BTP ASTraM app. Kumar's hands-on engagement provided him with a unique perspective on traffic management during a bustling morning in Rajaji Nagar.

In a Facebook post and accompanying video, Kumar is seen donning a traffic police jacket, coordinating with law enforcement, operating signal controls, and addressing traffic rule violations. This event, he shared, offered rare insights into commuter behavior and gave him a heartfelt appreciation for the challenges faced by traffic personnel daily.
