Twenty-Eight Suspected Maoists Apprehended in Major Police Operation

In a significant police operation near Vijayawada on Tuesday, authorities apprehended 28 individuals allegedly linked to the slain Maoist commander Madivi Hidma.
The crackdown follows a deadly Exchange of Fire (EoF) between security forces and Maoist militants in Alluri Seetharam Raju district, resulting in six Maoists being killed earlier in the day.
According to Krishna district Superintendent of Police Vidya Sagar Naidu, nine of the detainees were reportedly part of Hidma's security detail, prompting their arrest through coordinated efforts across Krishna district.
