In an unprecedented crackdown on illegal drug cultivation, authorities in Tripura's Sepahijala district successfully obliterated ganja plants valued at Rs 50 crore.
The extensive operation took place on Tuesday, with 12 lakh semi-mature cannabis plants being uprooted and destroyed from numerous locations across forest land.
An impressive contingent of 500 personnel from Tripura State Rifles, district police, and CRPF collaborated in this extensive operation, aiming to dismantle the illicit drug trade.
