Union Minister of State for Communications and Rural Development Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani addressed a large gathering of the Indian community in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Monday evening, extending heartfelt greetings and acknowledging the strength, diversity, and growing influence of Indians abroad.
The event saw the participation of over 1,000 members of the Indian diaspora, including professionals from international oil and gas firms, the hospitality industry, commodity trading businesses, and around 380 university students pursuing higher education in Azerbaijan. The Minister said the gathering reflected the spirit of a modern, confident, and culturally rooted India.
