President Droupadi Murmu is set to spearhead the Constitution Day celebrations at the historic Central Hall of the old Parliament building on Wednesday.
The event will also witness the attendance of Vice President C P Radhakrishnan and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, as confirmed by the Lok Sabha Secretariat.
Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, honors the adoption of the Indian Constitution by the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949. Originally celebrated as Law Day until 2015, this day showcases the significant milestone of India becoming a republic on January 26, 1950.
